 Glowing skin smoothie recipe
 
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup plain coconut water1
  • 2 frozen ripe bananas, previously peeled & sliced
  • 1 cup chopped pineapple (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 cup chopped mango (frozen or fresh)
  • 2 cups spinach or kale
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • optional: 1 Tablespoon ground flax or flaxseed oil

 

Carrot+spinach+ cucumber +broccoli smoothie:

 
 Spinach is an excellent source of iron, calcium, beta carotene, vitamin C and other minerals. This super veggie is high in phytonutrients which are hugely beneficial for our overall health. Along with this they are also very rich in cell preserving flavonoids. Carrots are an excellent source of Vitamin A, the most important nutrient for good skin. They are also very rich in antioxidants, fiber, biotin, Vitamin B6, C, and K all of which work at maintaining skin health and skin cells. Broccoli is a superstar veggie since it is very rich in dietary fiber, water, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, iron and Vitamin C. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition labels broccoli as the vegetable with the most health benefits. Cucumbers are a great source of Vitamin A and also contain folate, potassium, manganese, silica, and Vitamin C. They are very high in water content and are known for their ability to improve skin health. Cucumbers also provide a nice base for this smoothie. To make this veggie smoothie you need:
1 bunch spinach
1 carrot
1/4th of a small sized broccoli (including stalk)
1 cucumber I tsp.
 fresh lemon juice 
 
The Green Smoothie: A green smoothie is a mix of fruits and vegetables and is indeed a power drink. Incorporate as many colors of fruits and veggies in your smoothie for the nutrient and vitamin punch.
  • 1 bunch of spinach
  • 3-4 stalks of coriander
  • ½ a pink grapefruit
  • ½ apple
  • 1 carrot
  • ½  an orange
  • 1 celery stalk
  • Handful of berries ( strawberries, red raspberries or blueberries)
  • Juice of half a lemon
 Very berry smoothie

Berries contain many nutrients that are excellent for healthy skin. Not only do they have vitamin C which is great for your complexion but many berries can help your body to produce collagen which is essential for a youthful complexion. To make this miracle smoothie, just blend together:
• 1 cup cold water
• ¼ cup kale
• ¼ cup each of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries – you can use fresh or frozen


Green Metabolism Boosting Smoothie

This smoothie is good not only for your skin but for your eyes, hair and everything else. It is a great weight loss smoothie as well and gives you a number of essential nutrients to start your day. To make it, you will need to blend together:
• 1 ½ cups of cold water
• 1 head of romaine lettuce
• ½ bunch of spinach
• 1 apple
• 1 pear
• 4 stalks of celery
• 1 medium banana
• The juice from ½ a lemon
• You can also add cilantro and parsley if you like

Strawberry and cucumber skin damage smoothie
Strawberries contain many antioxidants which help to repair skin damage. Cucumbers help to promote hydration and keep your skin from drying out. When combined, these two make a smoothie that tastes wonderful and can help you to fight signs of aging.

• 3 cups of coconut water – unsweetened
• ½ cup coconut milk
• 2 cups of strawberries – fresh or frozen
• 1 cucumber
• 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
• 3 cups of baby spinach
